This policy explains how Click Himalayas uses personal information when you browse the website, create an account, contact us, apply as a vendor or place an order when ordering is available. For privacy questions, email [email protected].

Information you provide

Account information includes your name, email address and account credentials. For orders and delivery, we collect the recipient name, phone number, address, PIN code and order details. We also keep enquiries and the information you provide when asking for help.

Where payments are checked manually, we collect the transaction reference and any payment evidence you choose to upload. Please remove unrelated transactions, balances or other unnecessary information from screenshots. Do not send card security codes, passwords, UPI PINs or one-time codes.

Vendors may provide business and contact details, their public profile and product content, tax information and payout details. The public vendor profile and product listings are visible to visitors. Private tax and payout information is not intended for public display.

Information collected when you use the website

We use cookies and similar browser storage needed to maintain your session, keep your basket and protect forms and accounts. Server and security records may include IP addresses, browser information, access times and error information. These records help us operate the website and investigate problems or misuse.

The current website does not use advertising trackers or optional analytics cookies. If we introduce optional tracking, we will explain its purpose and provide any choice required before it is used. Blocking essential cookies can prevent sign-in and basket features from working.

Why we use information

We use information to manage accounts, review vendor applications and listings, respond to enquiries, process and verify payments, coordinate fulfilment, handle cancellations and refunds, calculate vendor earnings and record payouts. We also use it to prevent fraud, secure the website, resolve disputes and meet applicable legal and accounting obligations.

We use email for service messages, including account, order and support updates. We will not treat a purchase or support enquiry as permission to send unrelated marketing emails. Any optional marketing programme will have a separate choice and an unsubscribe method.

Who receives information

We share relevant order and delivery details with the vendor responsible for the items and, when a shipment is arranged, with the delivery partner. A vendor should receive only the information needed for its own order items and must not use it for unrelated marketing.

Authorised team members and service providers may process information to host and operate the website, send service emails, support payments or investigate issues. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights. We do not sell personal information.

When online payments are available, Razorpay processes them. We share the order amount, order reference and the contact details needed for checkout with Razorpay. Payment details are entered in Razorpay’s secure checkout. We store payment references and confirmation status, not full card details, CVVs or UPI PINs. See Razorpay’s privacy policy. Links to other websites are governed by those websites' own practices.

Retention and security

We keep information for as long as needed for its purpose, including account administration, order support, accounting, dispute handling and applicable legal retention duties. Where there is no continuing need or legal duty, information will be deleted or anonymised. Some records may need to remain after an account is closed.

We restrict access to personal information and apply safeguards appropriate to the information we hold. No website or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Please keep your account credentials private and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

Your choices and requests

You can ask us to explain the information we hold, correct inaccurate information, close your account or delete information where permitted. You can also raise a privacy concern or withdraw consent for optional uses. Withdrawal does not undo processing already lawfully carried out or remove records that must be retained.

Email [email protected] from your registered address where possible. We may need proportionate identity verification before releasing or changing personal information. We will explain any reason we cannot fully fulfil a request and the next steps available under applicable law.

Children

The website is intended for adults who can enter into a purchase or vendor agreement. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children for account registration. If a child has provided information without appropriate authorisation, contact us so we can assess and address it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and show the latest revision date. If a new use requires consent or another notice, we will provide it as required rather than rely only on an updated page.
